First Week at salesforce.com

Dang, what can I say about the first week of my internship at salesforce.com! It is crazy, I defiantly want to pursue my career at salesforce.com! My drive is so much stronger  for this opportunity! There’s so many buildings I have to attend to. Going from the lobby floor all the way up to the rooftops, who would ever thought I would be in this postion! I love the hospitality I get at salesforce, and all of the network I’m able to receive. My network has grown so much already, I’ve met quite a few hiring managers in the “IT” department. Also I’m really getting exposed to the business side of salesforce.com, its really interesting to me, I defiantly plan to network with colleagues in the business side of salesforce.com, You never know I could be a perfect fit for the business side.

So the first week Ive did a lot of training and learning. I’m currently getting salesforce Admin training. I really want to get certified in the ADM201, which is salesforce administrations; if I receive this I will be able to expand my opportunities with salesforce.com as well as other corporate companies.  I’ve also got the opportunities to learn more about Microsoft excel! I got Learn a lot of the formulas, More focused on the “IF statement” as well as the “Truth Table”. Those Courses are taught in Computer Science! I got to attend a few classes for free at work!

So at salesforce.com I wasn’t able to know my title or postion until the end of my training, but knowing me I knew there was a way to find out. So I accesed the salesforce intranet and searched my name and boom there goes my title, I am currently a IT- Global Analysts! Sounds amazing right?

Well Im really excited to start my postion! So until then I will continue to gain knowledge and stay positive.

  1. Devon, I cannot tell you how excited I am for you. Your enthusiasm is spilling out of my computer screen!

I'm glad you like it. Remember, you earned the right to be there, but everyday you have to earn the right to stay there.

Do your best. Learn everyday. Network everyday. Enjoy it.
